Lt. Governor Guadagno Joins New Jersey Builders Association for Annual Economic Forecast
Trenton, NJ – March 26, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Joining the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) during its three-day convention and exposition, Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno today addressed the Atlantic Builders Convention’s Annual Economic Forecast.
“The members of this organization have helped to build New Jersey and continue to move forward and make progress even after significant difficulties like the Great Recession and Superstorm Sandy,” said Lt. Governor Guadagno. “The Economic Opportunity Act’s landmark development and investment incentive reforms and our regulatory reform agenda have made New Jersey a much more attractive place in which to invest, build and create jobs. By working together, we can construct the sort of foundation that will make New Jersey stronger and more prosperous for many years to come.”
The Atlantic Builders Convention is the largest regional builder tradeshow in the Northeast. The event brings together 6,500 industry representatives from across the region for educational seminars, panels, exhibits of the latest products and services, award presentations and networking opportunities.
“We were extremely excited to have the Lt. Governor speak at the Economic Forecast this year, especially considering the tremendous amount of work she has done on attracting and retaining businesses to New Jersey, and eliminating unnecessary regulatory burdens that only inhibit our industry’s recovery,” said Carol Ann Short, Esq., CEO of NJBA. “Our combined efforts are helping the building industry get back to work and helping New Jerseyans realize the American dream of homeownership.”
The NJBA is the leading trade association for the construction industry, including residential and commercial builders, developers, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, consultants and other professionals. NJBA and its members strive for a more vibrant, greener and affordable housing market in New Jersey.
