Menendez Commends HUD Actions to Help Struggling Homeowners and Communities
U.S. Senator Bob Menendez commended actions announced today by the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Federal Housing Administration (FHA) to strengthen the Distressed Asset Stabilization Program (DASP) in order to help struggling homeowners avoid foreclosure and stay in their homes, and assist communities suffering with high concentrations of foreclosures and distressed mortgages.

Pallone Announces Two Grants to Perth Amboy Organizations for Housing Counseling
Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) today announced two grants through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Counseling Program to help provide individuals and families with advice and information on housing issues. George Vallone Installed as President of the New Jersey Builders Association

Court Shuts Down State’s $200 Million Trust Fund Grab

Pallone Announces $1.29 Million for Public Housing Developments in New Jersey’s 6th District
Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) located in New Jersey’s 6th District will receive a total of over $1.29 million to help with the operation and management costs associated with public housing developments. The funding, which is awarded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides assistance to PHAs to help with the upkeep of public housing. Twelve Housing Authorities throughout the 6th District, in both Middlesex and Monmouth counties, will receive funding.
