In its continued effort to meet and assist Sandy-impacted families right in their home communities, the Christie Administration today announced that the 20th Information Session will be held Monday, June 29th, in Newark, Essex County, to provide personal assistance for storm-affected homeowners participating in the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Program and LMI Homeowners Rebuilding Program.

In its continued effort to meet and assist Sandy-impacted families right in their home communities, the Christie Administration today announced that the 18th Information Session will be held Monday, June 15th, in Toms River, Ocean County, to provide personal assistance for storm-affected homeowners participating in the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Program and LMI Homeowners Rebuilding Program.

Trenton, NJ - July 16, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Christie Administration today announced that Sandy-impacted homeowners have until August 1, 2013 to apply for the Homeowner Resettlement and Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Programs. After August 1, applications will no longer be accepted for the two grant programs. Eligible homeowners can apply for grant assistance online at www.renewjerseystronger.org, by phone at 1-855-SANDYHM (1-855-726-3946), or in person at any one of the Housing Recovery Centers open in each of the nine counties most affected by Superstorm Sandy.

TRENTON, NJ - February 14, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Acting Governor Kim Guadagno today announced that the New Jersey HomeKeeper Program has helped more than 2,300 New Jersey homeowners avert foreclosure since the program’s inception in May 2011. The New Jersey HomeKeeper Program is now awarding more than 250 loans each month after the Administration implemented such changes as expanded program eligibility, increased staffing, improved management and marketing, and more targeted outreach about the program.

TRENTON - December 16, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Attorney General Paula T. Dow and Criminal Justice Director Stephen J. Taylor announced that an Atlantic City man who formerly worked as a local administrator of the New Jersey Home Energy Assistance (HEA) Program was sentenced today for stealing $9,062 from the program by filing false applications to obtain benefits.

BELLMAWR, N.J. - November 22, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Representatives of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) today joined local and state officials to celebrate the unveiling of newly installed solar panels at Bellmawr Senior Housing, an independent senior living community in Bellmawr, Camden County. The HMFA, an affiliate of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), committed funding for the installation through its Multifamily Solar Funding Pilot Program.<

TRENTON, NJ - July 18, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Attorney General Paula T. Dow and Criminal Justice Director Stephen J. Taylor announced that a Paulsboro woman who formerly worked as a local administrator of the New Jersey Home Energy Assistance (HEA) Program was sentenced to state prison today for defrauding the program of more than $20,000 by filing false applications to obtain benefits. In addition, a second former local administrator of the program pleaded guilty today to stealing over $40,000 in program benefits through the submission of fraudulent benefit applications.
