New Jersey REALTORS® and Builders to Host Seminar on Federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008

Edison, NJ – September 26, 2008 – (RealEstateRama) — The New Jersey Association of REALTORS® and the New Jersey Builders Association have teamed up to host a seminar to discuss the recently enacted Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. The Federal Housing Act is widely considered to be “milestone legislation” that will provide a much-needed boost to the housing industry.

During the seminar, panelists from the National Association of Home Builders and the National Association of REALTORS® will discuss various components of legislation, including the first-time home buyer tax credit and permanent increases to the conforming loan limits for Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE). At the seminar, panelists will also discuss what the Act means to the real estate and building industries, what it means to consumers, what resources are available to real estate and building professionals and the public, and how utilizing the measure will increase consumer confidence and, ultimately, boost home sales.
