New Jersey Apartment Association Announces Fall Education Programs

Professional Development Courses Open to NJAA Members and Non-Members

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J., – October 7, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — The New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA) will host educational programs in October and November designed to help industry professionals gain knowledge and elevate their skills. NJAA offers a diverse selection of comprehensive education and certification courses throughout the year for members and non-members as part of its commitment to advancing the multi-family housing industry in New Jersey.

The following programs are open to NJAA members and the public:

Tues., Oct. 21: Attracting Top Talent. Presented by Brad Schwartz, MSB Resources, LLC. Ideal for property management professionals who want to win the war for talent, this interactive course will focus on making the most of each step of the recruitment process – from taking the requisition to onboarding a new hire. 9 – 11 a.m.; 8:30 a.m. breakfast. Free for NJAA members; $75 for non-members.
Wed., Nov. 5: Supplier Success. Learn how to maximize partnerships with apartment owners, management companies and association members. Jane Ashwood and Peggy Hale, Morgan Properties, and Larry Falkow, The APTS Magazine, will share their industry insights and secrets to building successful customer relationships. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. breakfast and lunch included. Cost: $125 for members; $175 for non-members.
Tues., Nov. 11 & Wed., Nov. 12: National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP). Presented by Marla Posey, Woodmont Properties. Gain a thorough understanding of the many roles the property leasing consultant plays and the valuable contributions they make to successful property management. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. breakfast. 150 Smith Rd., Parsippany, N.J. Cost: $375 for NJAA members; $475 for non-members.

NJAA members earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) towards National Apartment Association Designations (NAA) at each session they attend.
