MINNEAPOLIS COUPLE FINDS VIBRANT DOWNTOWN LIFESTYLE AT 40 PARK IN MORRISTOWN

MORRISTOWN, N.J – March 21, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Dr. Avi Nahum and Jean Holloway were enjoying life in a beautiful condo in one of Minneapolis’ most desirable, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods when Mrs. Holloway was offered a job with a medical technology company in New Jersey. The new employment opportunity was perfect for her, but it meant she and her husband would have to move to New Jersey and leave the neighborhood they loved behind. They had mixed feelings about the move until they discovered 40 Park, the luxury condominium building in the heart of downtown Morristown.

A friend of the couple who lived in New Jersey sent them a link to a newspaper article on 40 Park with a simple message: “This looks like the type of place you would enjoy; you should check it out.” The thought of living in a luxury building in the heart of a thriving, historic downtown did appeal to them, so Dr. Nahum contacted his real estate agent and asked to add 40 Park to their search itinerary.

After visiting the community, the couple was sold. The spectacular Penthouse residences immediately appealed to them, with their beautifully-appointed living spaces and expansive layouts that were just the right size, while the vibrant, walkable neighborhood with numerous restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops and cultural attractions reminded them of home.

“Our Minneapolis condo was in a nice neighborhood just two blocks from the Mississippi River, right above a grocery store, and within walking distance of many great restaurants and coffee houses,” Dr. Nahum said. “40 Park and downtown Morristown share many of those same characteristics. We both like the city type of living and being in a walkable neighborhood with a true community feel. It’s great to not have to use the car at all on weekends if you don’t want to. There are so many things to do within a few blocks of the building, yet when we want to venture out, having New York City only an hour away by train is a real plus.”

Dr. Nahum and Mrs. Holloway chose a two-bedroom, two-bath Penthouse with 1,730 square feet of indoor living space. The Penthouse boasts an open floor plan with spacious living room, dining area and gourmet kitchen. The lavish master suite includes a separate sitting area, huge walk-in closet and master bath with marble floors and countertops, cherry cabinetry, his-and-hers undermount sinks, soaking tub and frameless glass shower doors.

The 600 square-foot terrace is the real jewel of the home for the couple since they both enjoy spending time outdoors. The uniquely-designed terrace is accessible from virtually every room in the home via sliding glass doors or French doors. The couple will enjoy views of downtown Morristown, including Market Street and a side view of the scenic Morristown Green. Dr. Nahum looks forward to grilling on the terrace, entertaining friends and landscaping the outdoor space to his liking.

“The home’s layout is exactly what we like and it’s the right size for us, not too large and not too small,” Dr. Nahum said. “It is airy, open, full of light, and there is a great terrace that you can barbecue on. We will spend a lot of time out there. And I would like to grow tomatoes. To me, that would be a fine use of the space.”

Dr. Nahum and Mrs. Holloway won’t have to walk far to enjoy some of the finer things downtown Morristown offers. The Shops on the Green on the ground level of 40 Park and adjacent Metropolitan at 40 Park is home to popular shops and restaurants such as Roots Steakhouse, Urban Table, Starbucks, Qdoba, the AT&T Store and Powerflow Yoga. Numerous other restaurants, shops, theaters and art galleries are also within walking distance. Attractions such as the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey and Washington’s Headquarters historical site are all less than a five-minute drive away.
Residents can also walk to the Morristown Train Station, with service to midtown Manhattan, while downtown Morristown offers commuters easy highway access to major job centers and recreation areas along Route 287, Route 78 and Routes 202/206.

40 Park residents also enjoy the luxuries and conveniences of an upscale building, including full-time concierge service and The Park Center, a private amenity floor within the building that features a fitness center, billiards tables, flat-screen TVs and a media room. Each home comes with private, indoor parking.

A flurry of recent sales activity has left only four Penthouses and one Signature residence remaining available at 40 Park. The remaining two- and three-bedroom Penthouses feature up to 2,720 square-feet of living space, 2-3 ½ baths, and up to 1,500 square-foot private terraces.
