Rep. Payne, Jr. Announces Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee Assignments
WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Rep. Donald M. Payne, Jr. announced that he has joined three subcommittees of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. He will serve on the Subcommittees on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials; Highways and Transit; and Aviation.
“New Jersey’s Tenth Congressional District is one of the most infrastructure dense areas of the nation,” said Rep. Donald M. Payne, Jr. (NJ-10). “I represent some of the nation’s busiest transportation hubs, including Newark Liberty International Airport, Port Newark, I-95, and a portion of Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor. My work on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is to ensure that we build, maintain, and restore the infrastructure that keeps our nation running. Serving on these three subcommittees will give me the opportunity to ensure New Jersey’s priorities are represented and to fight for the Gateway Project.”
