OCTOBER 24: IOREBA EVENT WILL FOCUS ON DATA CENTERS
Discussion of Trends, Tours of Sentinel Data Centers’ Newest Facility will Highlight Program
SOMERSET, N.J. – October 14, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Area (IOREBA) will host a program on data centers on October 24, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. The event, slated for Sentinel Data Centers’ NJ1 facility, 800 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, N.J., will include a panel discussion, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and group tours of the facility. Panelists will include: Michael Pembroke, senior vice president, leasing and marketing, Russo Development; Michael Silla, director of strategic development, Concept CSI; and Josh Rabina, co-founder of Sentinel Data Centers. Sean Brady, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., will be the moderator.
“Data centers continue to show significant leasing activity,” said David Simon, managing principal of Cassidy Turley, New Jersey and 2011-2012 president of IOREBA. “New Jersey has become one of the largest data center markets in the country, and this event will provide details regarding trends, the site selection process and necessary infrastructure requirements. Additionally, we are very excited that our pre-registered members and guests will have an opportunity to tour this exceptional facility.”
A joint venture with Russo Development, Sentinel Data Centers’ NJ1 is a three-phase, 330,000-square-foot multi-tenant facility with 160,000 square feet of turn-key space and 25 megawatts of critical power capacity. It is also the first data center or co-location facility in the Greater New York region to earn LEED Gold designation from U.S. Green Building Council.
Registration fee prior to October 20 is $65 for IOREBA members and $80 for non-members. Attendees who pre-register will be entered into a raffle to win an iPad. After October 20, registration will be available at the door only, and the fee will increase to $80 for members and $95 for non-members. Individual registration can be completed online.
