Metro Commercial Brokers Lease Transaction for Party City in Millville, NJ
Party City is the latest retailer to join the Union Lake Crossing shopping center
MT. LAUREL, NJ – March 27, 2008 – Metro Commercial, the region’s largest full-service retail real estate firm, announced today that it has completed an 8,354-square-foot lease transaction for Party City in Millville, NJ.
Party City, the largest retail party store in the United States, is the most recent addition to the Union Lake Crossing shopping center at 2108 North 2nd Street.
Metro Commercial also brokered the lease transaction for the center’s Target, (135,000-square-feet) PetSmart, (20,100-square-feet) Circuit City (20,000-square-feet) and Dress Barn (7,500-square-feet) stores.

Union Lake Crossing joins a burgeoning retail complex that includes the rapidly expanding Cumberland Mall. The Vineland/Millville retail hub has created 1,000 new jobs and is now second in size to only that of the King of Prussia Mall complex in Pennsylvania.
Developed by Goodman Properties, Union Lake Crossing consists of a 60-acre-tract, which lies at the hub of southern New Jersey’s rapidly expanding Cumberland County. The shopping center spans 2,000 feet of Route 47 (Delsea Drive) just 1,000 feet south of the Route 55 expressway. The center is exposed to a combined traffic count of over 35,000 vehicles per day.
A city of 27,000 residents, Millville offers affordable housing, plenty of room for manufacturing and commercial enterprise, and easy transportation access to major regions throughout the Northeast Corridor. The city is currently developing new projects with the same goal of incentivizing significant economic development and creating enough new revenues to continue neighborhood revitalization.
