Trenton, NJ – July 15, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — This morning, Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno joined the families and friends of fallen law enforcement officers in Seaside Heights for the 8th Annual Law Enforcement Survivors Day, hosted in part by The Garden State Chapter of The Concerns of Police Survivors and Survivors of the Triangle.

“One of the best ways to thank the members of law enforcement who risk their lives every day for our safety is to support their families, particularly when an officer falls in the line of duty,” said Lt. Governor Guadagno, who has attended Survivors Day since 2011. “We never forget those we have lost, but events like Survivors Day help these families find help and healing to move forward with their lives. I am grateful to all those who made today so special for our surviving families.”

Families representing 28 fallen officers received free access to Breakwater Beach Water Park for Survivors Day. The annual event invites families to move forward from tragedy together by building supportive relationships and enjoying a day of fun.

Lt. Governor Guadagno was joined by, among others, Acting Attorney General John Jay Hoffman and Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police.
