JUNE 8: NAIOP NEW JERSEY TO PRESENT ENVIRONMENTAL, ECONOMIC & LAND USE PLANNING UPDATE
Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno will Keynote, and Separate Panels will feature Regulators and Private Sector Professionals
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – May 12, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — On Wednesday, June 8, 2011, NAIOP New Jersey, the commercial real estate development association, will present a seminar titled “Environmental, Economic & Land Use Planning Update”. Topics of discussion will include the plans of the administration of Gov. Chris Christie to foster sustained economic growth, regulatory and policy changes coming from the New Jersey DEP, and preparations for mandatory reliance on Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP).
The seminar’s keynote address will be presented by Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who will discuss New Jersey’s new business retention and development resources for commercial real estate, the Christie administration’s vision for transforming the state’s land-use planning system, and efforts to eliminate red tape. The program will also feature two panels, one consisting of regulators, the other of private sector professionals. The discussions of both will focus on planning and regulatory initiatives in the areas of water quality management, LSRPs, and land-use programs.
