Seasoned Real Estate Broker Touts Benefits of Return to Large-Firm Environment
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – June 23, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Commercial real estate brokerage veteran Joseph Rosario has re-joined Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. in East Rutherford as a senior director. For more than three decades, he has specialized in consulting and transaction services in the New Jersey and metropolitan New York markets; this included nine years at Cushman & Wakefield in the 1970s and 1980s.
Rosario maintains a deep client base, with an emphasis in the business services sector including accounting, financial, brokerage, legal, insurance and engineering organizations. He also represents property owners in leasing, acquisition and property management assignments.
Rosario for the past three years has operated Rosario Realty Services, LLC, specializing in small-property investments. Prior to that, he worked in office leasing for Murray Hill Properties. In addition to his previous engagement at Cushman & Wakefield, he has held positions with such notable real estate organizations as CBRE, Koll Real Estate Services and Helmsley Spear, LLC.
“Joseph’s impressive experience and long history of success in our competitive business speaks for itself,” noted Gualberto “Gil” Medina, Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey executive managing director. “He is a true professional, and his ability to effectively manage the many moving parts of negotiating and consummating complex real estate transactions makes him an asset to our organization.”
Regarding his return to Cushman & Wakefield, Rosario noted that the company provides the right balance of entrepreneurial opportunity and large-scale resources. “I enjoyed the experience of working on my own at Rosario Realty Services, but I missed being with a larger firm,” he said. “There is a strong sense of camaraderie at Cushman & Wakefield, which I appreciate. The firm provides the opportunity to tap into its national and global resources, which enables me to better service my clients and expand my business.”
Rosario is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey and New York. He maintains professional affiliations with the New York and New Jersey chapters of the International Facilities Management Association, and the Real Estate Board of New York.
