CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD NAMED LEASING AGENT FOR GLENPOINTE

TEANECK, N.J. – May 5, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has been named leasing agent for the 650,000-square-foot office component of the Glenpointe complex in Teaneck. Richard Baumstein, Marc Graham and Christian Politan of the firm’s East Rutherford, N.J., office are heading the assignment on behalf of property owner Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
The team is marketing units from 1,000 to 63,000 square feet at Glenpointe, which also is approved for an additional new building of 230,000 square feet. Sanzari recently completed a $7 million upgrade of the common areas in the three existing, interconnected buildings. The complex also includes a health spa and a 350-room Marriott hotel and conference center, which has initiated a $14 million renovation.
The appointment brings Cushman & Wakefield’s involvement with Glenpointe full circle; Baumstein was the property’s first leasing representative after its development in the mid 1980s. “Sanzari has done a beautiful job maintaining this complex as northern New Jersey’s premier, headquarters-quality corporate address,” he said. “It is rare in this industry to find a landlord committed to its properties for the long term.
