Hamilton, NJ – April 3, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — The New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) is pleased to announce that David B. Fisher, PP, AICP, Vice President of Governmental Affairs for K. Hovnanian Homes, was installed as President of the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) today at the 65th Annual Atlantic Builders Convention (ABC) in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

“Mr. Fisher is well-recognized as an industry leader and considered an authority on land acquisition, the planning and design of new communities, urban redevelopment, and regulatory approvals,” stated Carol Ann Short, Esq., Chief Executive Officer of NJBA. “Dave started his career as the Director of Environmental Affairs & Planning for NJBA in 1979. He is the first NJBA staff alumni to become the President of our association. We are confident that NJBA, its members and the building industry will prosper under his leadership.”

“I am honored to serve as President of NJBA. I have been active in the Association for my entire career and firmly believe in its mission to promote, protect and improve the building industry,” added Fisher. “During my tenure as President we will focus on pro-growth initiatives that will have a positive impact on New Jersey’s economy.” Fisher resides in Manasquan, NJ with his wife.
