Sterns & Weinroth Welcomes Roxanne E. Jayne

Trenton, NJ, August 21, 2007 – Sterns & Weinroth, P.C. is pleased to announce the expansion of its Real Estate/Transactional Practice Group, with the addition of Roxanne E. Jayne, who has joined the firm as a Director.

Ms. Jayne, who has served as outside and in-house counsel representing a broad range of clients in environmental litigation and regulatory matters, has over 25 years experience as an environmental attorney. She has advised Fortune 500 and other companies, redevelopers and investors on due diligence, liability protection, insurance, fixed price remediation and financial incentives in connection with purchases, sales, leases, redevelopment and cleanups of contaminated property and Brownfield sites. She also has extensive experience in permitting, enforcement and compliance with environmental laws and programs. “Roxanne provides our clients with considerable depth and experience in these areas, and we are delighted to welcome her to the firm,” said Frank Petrino, Chair of Sterns & Weinroth’s Real Estate/Transactional Practice Group.

Ms. Jayne serves on the Environmental Quality Committee of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, and the Brownfields Advisory Group to the City of Trenton, Better Environmental Solutions for Trenton (BEST). She is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Brownfield Association, Technical Committee and Legislative Tracking Subcommittee, and a founding member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Women Environmental Professionals.

Ms. Jayne earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. She is a frequent speaker and a published author.
