Shrewsbury Office Thanks Supporters of 7th Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand!
June 6, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — In their continuous efforts in the battle against childhood cancer, the Gloria Nilson Realtors, Real Living Shrewsbury Office hosted their 7th Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand last Saturday, June 2, 2012 at their office, 600 Broad Street , Shrewsbury, NJ. For the fourth year, the stand was designated an Alex’s Lemonade Grand Stand to help raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research in the hopes of finding new cures and treatments for this important cause. They have raised over $56,000 to date and donations can still be made at www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/80690. “We can’t thank you enough for all of the hard work you all put into this every year and truly appreciate all of your efforts in helping us to realize Alex’s vision of finding a cure for childhood cancer” says Lisa McQuiston, representative of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
It was a beautiful day with attendees enjoying the pony rides, a bounce house, Shrewsbury Fire Truck tours, face painting and games. There were hot dogs, cotton candy, sno cones, cupcakes & of course plenty of Lemonade to go around.
