CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD ARRANGES LEASE EXPANSION, EXTENSION FOR ENGINEERING FIRM
Langan Engineering has expanded to 10,750 Square Feet within Brandywine’s Princeton Pike Corporate Center
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – January 20, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Langan Engineering & Environmental Services has increased its presence and re-located within its current location at 989 Lenox Drive in Lawrenceville. In little more than one year, this regional office quickly outgrew its operating space and worked closely with Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. and its landlord Brandywine Realty Trust, to sign a new lease for 10,750 square feet in the same building.
“Langan liked the location and wanted to work with the landlord to complete the expansion and extension of its lease,” said Marc Graham of Cushman & Wakefield’s East Rutherford, N.J. office, who teamed with Cushman & Wakefield colleagues Donald Eisen, Lee Miller and John Picco, to represent the tenant. Brandywine Realty Trust was represented in-house by Stephen Jennings.
“Everyone involved in this transaction has good relationships with one another,” said Graham. “Langan’s strong reputation and continued growth plans, along with Brandywine’s tenant-friendly approach allowed us to orchestrate a favorable result for both parties. Ultimately, it was a very cooperative effort.”
Constructed in 1984 and renovated in 2002, Princeton Pike 1 at 989 Lenox Drive, consists of 112,055 square feet on three floors. With this transaction, Langan moves into entirely new space within the class A asset. “The relocation to new space within the same building will allow the tenant to re-optimize their layout and create additional efficiencies,” said Graham.
