NAIOP NEW JERSEY ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR 25th ANNUAL COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE AWARDS

Honorees to be announced at 2012 Annual Meeting and Forecast

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – November 9, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Nominations are now open for the most prestigious awards in the real estate community: The New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, will present the 25th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards at the Gala on May 17, 2012 at the Palace at Somerset Park.

The awards honor excellence in commercial and industrial real estate development, including innovation, impact, leadership and contributions to the community. The deadline for nominations is Friday, December 30, 2011. Details and the nomination form are available at www.naiopnj.org/25Gala.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Impact Awards: Recognize up to two firms and/or individuals, at least one of which is a member of the New Jersey Chapter, that have had a significant impact on New Jersey’s commercial and industrial real estate development industry.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Recognizes an individual who has had a distinguished and long-standing record of service to the industry and community, as well as significant personal accomplishments.

Industry Service Award: Recognizes a firm, individual or entity that has made a substantial contribution to the commercial and industrial real estate industry in support of the industry’s goals.

Information on submitting entries for the Deal of the Year competition will be announced soon.

NAIOP New Jersey’s Gala, one of the top networking events of the year, attracts hundreds of commercial and industrial real estate professionals. “Savvy real estate professionals know that their next big deal or career move could be made at the Gala, and they wouldn’t dream of missing it,” said NAIOP New Jersey President George Sowa of Brandywine Realty Trust.
